Welcome to our “Sweet Harmony” website!

We are the A Cappella Choir at the Tri-Lakes United Methodist church in Monument, Colorado.

A cappella (Italian for “in the manner of the church” or “in the manner of the chapel”) music is specifically solo or group singing without instrumental sound, or a piece intended to be performed in this way.

We do make exceptions from time to time. It is a great privilege of having Barbara Taylor, a world-class pianist, in our midst ~as a singer and choir director~ which allows for a broader variety of musical pieces we perform throughout the year (http://www.barbarataylormusicstudio.com/).

We are currently a group of  8-10 singers dividing into Soprano 1, Soprano 2, and Alto (with a little bit of free-styling in between:)

Sweet Harmony practices every Sunday from 9:45 – 10:30 am at TLUMC in the choir room (lower level).

We are always looking for new talent. If you enjoy singing in sweet harmony, come and see us!
